About ADRP
The Spanish Association for Decontamination of Hazardous Waste (ADRP) was founded in November 2009.
ADRP’s mission is to provide a national union of companies and professionals related with the bussiness of decontamination of hazardous waste.
ADRP is a non-profit trade organization with these main purposes:
- To develop training programs specifically designed for the decontamination industry. The courses should be both for new and experienced workers.
- To seek a collective agreement with the government to recognize the sector in fiscal terms and enlist a selection of all the specific works included.
- To create an open network of professionals through periodical meetings.
- To research and inform of the advantages and setbacks of decontamination techniques.
- To establish a permanent dialogue with the public organizations.
- To work towards a regulation of the sector in accordance with a specific policy of insurance for these professionals.
- To participate on international and national events of this sector to contact other professionals, promote the work of our members and introduce ADRP.
- ADRP offers marketing products to promote the activity and its members.
- ADRP is building up a glossary of common words used in this industry.
Membership is open to contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, public organizations and individuals.
Among ADRP members are:
- Contractors: specialized companies that perform decontamination of hazardous waste works.
- Suppliers: companies producing or distributing equipment and supplies related to some of this activity.
In addition to representing its members, the association maintains close partnerships with several entities, which include:
- business associations,
- professional groups
- media and
- other entities.
